so my concept is basically that a couple’s having some fancy virtual reality wedding, but the groom is like “…but it should be in SPACE with DINOSAURS and EXPLOSIONS” and the bride disagrees so he takes matters into his own hands.

maybe this isn’t the right week, or maybe i’m not as strong as i thought. either way, this project is driving me crazy. i can’t study my pills any longer. i want to be normal. healthy. i can accept taking pills, organizing them… those sorts of things… because i’m lucky to be alive, and they’re keeping me that way. but despite how simple and easy this project probably looks to all of you, i can’t look at these pills any more without feeling nauseated. so, i don’t want to risk losing my ability to scarf them down without a thought–to be ignorant, or to man up and accept my new normal. this routine won’t be forever; it could be so much worse. i know. but this is all i can take.

although i had a few months without this symptom, it’s come back with a vengeance: daily migraines. i start to feel it at about noon, and if i don’t take medicine, i’ve got quite the problem by three or four. thankfully, excedrin really seems to help. there are days when it doesn’t, and there’s usually some residual headache, but i probably wouldn’t be functioning without this and ibuprofen.

feature three: low-dose naltrexone

naltrexone is typically used to treat opiate addictions, but at a very low dose does something else entirely, boosting the immune system. although it’s pretty new, some people have seen dramatic improvements in illnesses such as hiv, ms, and some cancers. in my own experience it hasn’t directly fixed anything, but it did make me have noticeable herxes with other treatments– something i hadn’t had at first, perhaps because of my weakened immune system. now i’m able to better judge how my medicines are working. it also helps me sleep, which is wonderful, because i had terrible insomnia problems about a year ago.
